State Qualifyer

On Saturday Natalie and I participated in a State 4H horse Show qualifying Clinic that was at the barn our 4H project horses are:) We started by getting to the barn at 10:00 (Which was later than we had hoped for, but Natalie had to have her site changed before we left!) and got Griffindorf and Patsy in. Next we curried them off and gave them both baths, which took forever since they are both predominantly gray. At about 12:30, all of the trailers of girls who were coming from different barns to qualify rolled. The first part of the Clinic was just showmanship, which is when you present your horse in a bridle to the judge, and he/she judges your horse and you on you turnout, condition, attitude, and how well you perform a few simple tasks while leading your pony. After that we went back up to the barn and threw tack on the ponies. The junior riders rode first (Under 13), and then us "seniors" *YAY! Denny's discount*;) got on and flatted the horses, which all seemed to be having fun too, since they kept on bucking!! We finished the day off by each jumping and then getting some feedback from our excellent instructor for the day, Christie Heflin. Everyone qualified, and had a great time too!!

Manbug

Julianne came into the house-,"Look what I found" I look-,"Oh it's a ladybug!" Julianne-, "Actually it's a manbug" haha
